Experts in the STEM field will join each fun friday puzzle class to use their expertise to help the students solve some puzzles and inspire students to shoot for the stars. These are volunteers who just love their jobs and want to see the next generation of active learners join STEM careers.

William Humbert - Electrical Engineer PhD
Bill Humbert currently serves as the Director for the National Security
and Defense Program Office, Global Security Directorate, Los Alamos
National Laboratory. In this role he leads the strategic development,
execution and growth of all Department of Defense and Department of
Homeland Security programs responsible for the delivery and deployment of
critical National Security capabilities. The National Security & Defense
portfolio, currently valued at roughly $150M, includes a broad array
technology development efforts including Quantum sciences, novel
explosives, data analytics, EO/IR/RF sensing and signatures, Chem/Bio
security, space systems, accelerators, and advanced reactors.
